century couples, on one he stands as she attempts to remove a shoe, the other he kneels and removes one of her shoes, by leaf encrusted stumps in vivid enamel colours enriched in gilt, and on shaped circular scroll pierced bases, red printed crown and D mark, 15.5cm and 17.5cm high respectively
