Concert at Madison
County Arts Center
Songwriter Larry Cordle will be performing a concert beginning at 8
pm on Saturday (Feb. 6) at the Madison County Arts Center in Marshall.
His songs have been recorded by Ricky Skaggs, Alan Jackson and George

Two concerts
rescheduled
Inclement weather has shifted several musical events in the area. A
benefit to support music scholarships for North Buncombe students
has been cancelled. The concert was scheduled for Friday (Feb. 5)
at Weaverville First Baptist Church. No makeup date has been an-
nounced. Contact Harriet Burnette at 645-5798 for further informa-
tion.
The Wingate University Choir concert scheduled for Feb. 2 at First
Baptist Church has been rescheduled to begin at 7 pm on Tuesday
(Feb. 9).
