Desparate for Water Pump
& Lights to Work!
We own a 2007 Grand Junction 34QRE. The problem I am
having is as follows: The water pump and lights will only work
when we are plugged into a landline. The slides will still work
though. I am wondering if there is a master switch somewhere
to switch to 12 volt power. My dealer is not helping one bit.
The only thing he keeps telling me is that my batteries are too
weak. These are brand new batteries fully charged. Trying to
talk to Thor Manufacturing is no help either, they keep telling
me to contact my local dealer. The dealer is being stubborn
because I purchased the unit privately.
Desperate Gerald
Hello Gerald,
Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, I am not completely
familiar with your model of trailer, but we do have a very
comparable model. The first thing I would check is the water
level in the batteries.
Make sure the water is topped up. If there is a main cutoff
switch, it is more than likely in the compartment that the
batteries are in. Our units have a red handle, referred to as
a paddle switch. Also, in that same compartment, there will

be a series of circuit breakers. They are little grey boxes with

eyelets hooked to them. The circuit breakers are resettable.
If you feel along the body of them, you will feel little black

buttons. They will pop if there is a power surge, or if the

push the button, you should hear a click, and they will be
