Continued from previous page.
The residents of Country Lane love the
convenience and the park. “One of our
owners came here from Montreal to retire.
He has made tons of friends and loves it
because the people are all so nice,” says
Wallace. “We have lots of people who
own homes in Calgary and own a lot at
Country Lane RV Park. They love it here
and frequently stay two or three weeks at
a time without even going home. You can
jog, bike or just sit in your lounge chair
and have coffee. Sure you can do that at
home, but you probably wouldn’t know
many of your neighbours. It’s the people
walking by that wave and say hello that
make you feel right at home. Country Lane
RV Park has a sense of community that
has somehow been lost in the cities and
suburbs.”
With the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop,
the Sheep River nearby and regular
gatherings like the Wednesday night
Happy Hour in the Clubhouse, pot luck
dinners and special events plus all the
barbeque lunches and dinners for various
fundraisers, it’s easy to see why people
love it at Country Lane RV Park. ∆
