Mercedes Gray is a technology executive with more than 15 years experience in the fi nan-
cial services sector. In her role as chief information offi cer of CSC’s fast-growing business-
process outsourcing (BPO) division, she leads a global organization delivering services to a
fast-growing market segment that generates more than $100 million in annual revenue
Gray manages a high-performing team spread across three countries and 17 states. They
include nine direct reports, two outsourcing partners, more than 120 indirect IT profes-
sionals, and resources delivering on client and new-business transition programs, which
vary from 60 to 200 multiple organizations. The BPO unit processes more than 3.5 mil-
