At first glance, when I received an unsolicited email
publicizing Mark Curry’s new book Dancing with the Devil that
included a picture with Sean Combs suspended in a daunting
position with horns on the cover, I was a bit skeptical. I further
speculated that Curry was an embittered artist that didn’t fit
the bill for Diddy’s “over the top” standards and was therefore
let go in bad taste like so many of his hopeful protégés
who voluntarily sign up for a chance to be besmirched on
national television. But my dislike for Combs’ arrogance and
