Tara Gallagher-Couch took a fall at Thermal
and ended up with a fractured collarbone that

became problematic. She had surgery in San
Francisco to repair it and put in a plate and some
screws, and is now on the mend.
Susie Saladino also had surgery this spring and
we wish her a speedy recovery and back in the
saddle soon.
Lenny Marconi finally took the time and went in
3 for knee surgery in the Palo Alto area. This has
4
been a problem for Lenny for years and now
he is quickly on his way to being 100% again. A
welcome relief.
Our sad condolences to Mandy Porter, Meredith
Michaels-Beerbaum and Lise Quintero who all lost
their fathers this spring.
Michael Endicott is on the quick road to recovery
after his second attempt to get his back taken
care of. Just out of surgery and on the mend, he

is looking forward to being back in the saddle
again!
Lisa Baldasari's wonderful older dog, Mold, was
attacked by four dogs at the Blenheim shows

and severely hurt. Standing beside Lisa at the
2. Heather Olson wash rack, the dogs came out of nowhere. The

owner volunteered to pay the cost of surgery and

medical, hopefully that will happen!
