The American Statistical Association and the Government
Statistics Section now manage the award. The Washington
Statistical Society, the Social Statistics Section, and the
Council of Professional Associations on Federal Statistics are
cosponsors of the award.
Nominations for 2009 are being accepted now through
March 27. Members of the award committee will decide on
the winner by May 8. The award will consist of a $1,000 Business and Economic Statistics
honorarium and a citation, which will be presented at a cer-
