HAPPENINGS

cultural boundaries—a visual display of what is needed when words fail to convey the ideals of love, light, and hope. Lee is an artist that has realized success on many levels.

In fact, her achievements are deep- rooted not just in her but her offspring as well. Having raised her daughter, Gallerist Ruth-Ann Thorn, in a flourishing environment filled with art provided the perfect soil for a career in the arts as well. Thorn has now entered her 21st year in the art business, her very own successes a direct reflection of the passion, drive, and hard-working ethics Lee instilled in her. The ripples of Lee’s actions go beyond her daughter and reach a third generation, her granddaughter and budding artist Isabella Thorn. At the ripe age of nine, Bella has created more than 500 works of art, something she first learned from Lee. Her teachings of color theory and how to handle a paintbrush can be seen in each Bella Heart painting. The seeds of Lee’s love have come to fruition and can be seen at each of the EC Gallery locations. Contact your fine art consultant in San Diego, Beverly Hills, or the Forum Shops to RSVP.
