Since our foundation in 1904 Cummins Generator Technologies has built up a formidable reputation for alternator manufacturing experience. Building on that legacy, our investment into the Craiova site has reached €30 million since 2013.We continue to focus on enhancing the facility as a global centre-of-excellence for durable large alternators through the established STAMFORD®


and AvK® brands.


In the latest step of our journey, we have become the world’s first alternator manufacturer to achieve UL safety certification for low, medium and high voltages – meaning high voltage UL approved alternators are now available for our customers across the STAMFORD®


and AvK® ranges.
