photography and some, like my mother, are not. My mom is better with digital photography because she can snap a few hundred in a second, but typically, she considers the photo a success if half a face and one arm are in the shot. Sorry, Mom! Advancements in digital photography, the introduction of GoPros, selfies, and
waterproof cameras are becoming the best outdoor recruiters. More and more, we see high quality pictures of people enjoying really neat trips, and it inspires others to do something similar. So people find paddling spots that are relatively easy to access and enjoy. Some people find after some instruction, from an ACA course for example, they are more likely to feel at ease on the water. When you are more relaxed and comfortable on the water the more likely you will dig in your gear, find a camera and take a cool pic. ACA wants you to safely enjoy the outdoors, take a selfie, and brag to your
friends about your most recent paddle trip. Don’t forget to share with the ACA! Check out our water trail list for cool places to paddle. I hope you get a couple more paddles in this summer.
