Breakfast is the most important meal of the day
he nourishment we receive fuels us for our day, replenishing us with energy and in rare occasions, provides inspiration for vibrantly nutritious sculptures.
One California native has been playing with his food
lately, contorting his fruits and vegetables without the fear of repercussion in getting his hands a little dirty. Designer Thad Markham’s quest to show his audience what our produce does behind closed doors started when a bunch of bananas showed themselves in a new light. “That’s funny,” Markham thought to himself. “It almost looks as though those bananas are dancing together.”
Markham started imagining the secret nocturnal lives of fruits and vegetables. Hundreds of sketches, prototypes and color samples later the tantalizing tango of whimsical fruit took flight and Out of the Bowl was born.
Out of the Bowl’s limited edition, hand- painted sculptures are guaranteed to satiate your hunger for fun and are uniquely appropriate for a kitchen, bar, or any other areas you may want to add some fun splashes of color.
The promenading produce has made its way from the stu- dio and into each of the Exclusive Collections Gallery locations. Be sure to stop by and see what produce is in season and ripe for the picking.
