On November 20, 2014, the Heart of Georgia Board members honored the teachers of Jackson RoadEl- ementary School in Griffin for teacher recognition- week. Breakfast and coffee was provided to teachers by the Board. Jackson Road Elementary School is the Board’s assigned school with the Griffin/Spald - ing County School Partners in Education program.

The Middle Georgia Association held their RPAC fundraiser, “A Night at the Hay House,” on October 22, 2014, in conjunction with GAR’s Annual Leadership DevelopmentConference. The event sold out, and suc- cessfully raised over $6,000 for RPAC. Plans are al- ready underway for this year’s event at the Allman Brothers Big House Museum, so mark your calendars!

Booth.Guests enjoyed great food, an open bar with beer and wine, entertainment and the chance to win door
prizes.There were more than 250 people in attendance and the Board raised $9,400 for RPAC.
