Now, all you have to do is look around; and you’ll see that North America has become a modern crossroads of peoples from the entire globe. Did you know? • Sixty million Americans are first and second generation Americans.


• Foreign-born population in the United States reached 40 million in 2010; an increase of 8.9 million since 2000.


• About one million immigrants arrive in the USA yearly. Most come from Latin America, Asia, and Africa.
