oday’s fast pace of life doesn’t always leave as much time as we’d like for play, so it’s
important to make every weekend count. If you’re short on time, no problem. La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve is a vast wilderness area with many options for shorter canoe-camping trips.
La Vérendrye offers several different two and three-day paddling outings within our extensive network of lakes and rivers. From a serene lake loop to a technical whitewater run, you’ll be able to pack quite the adventure into a quick weekend getaway. After just two days of canoe-camping, you’ll return home feeling rejuvenated and refreshed - as if you had spent a full vacation away from it all.
And if you do have time for a longer outing, we’ve got plenty of those, too!
