A STELLAR PERFORMANCE
Sony/ATV offi ces, New York: Sony/ATV’s senior team with managers Tim Blacksmith and Danny D celebrating a stellar year so far for Stellar Songs – the JV between the major publisher and hit songwriting duo Stargate. The outfi t saw Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour become the fastest-selling debut album of the year in the UK in May, with the LP also entering the US album charts at No.2. Meanwhile, Charli XCX co-wrote and performed on Iggy Azalea hit Fancy, as well as now having a hit in her own right with Boom Clap. The company has also had success this year with Kiesza whose Hideaway topped the UK singles chart in April.
