Practice: José Antonio advises Mexican and foreign companies and financial institutions on matters related to financial transactions. He is experienced with multiple state and municipal securitizations backed with federal monies, and also local revenue such as payroll taxes, roads and bridges tolls, and taxes from the use and possession of vehicles. In addition, he advises states and municipalities on the implementation of legislative reforms to enact said transactions.

He has extensive experience in domestic and cross- border asset and future flow backed securitizations, and many types of transactions involving accounts receivables, consumer credits, highway-related revenue from federal and state concessions, rents, tax returns, and automobile credits.

José Antonio is experienced in advising clients on mortgage securitizations, bridge loans, and warehousing lines. He also advises clients on aspects related to company acquisitions and privatizations, as well as, restructuring debt for private companies, States, and Municipalities.

He has broad experience in the implementation of legal structures related to capital market transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and infrastructure projects. He advises the rating agencies authorized in Mexico by issuing legal opinions related to structured securities.
