ABOUT CARLOS CASANOVAS
Carlos Casanovas is EY Argentina Tax Managing Partner and Tax Market Leader.
Prior to this role, Carlos was the leader of the International Tax Services and Transfer Pricing division of EY Argentina from 2002 to 2013.
In 1999 and 2000, he was in charge of the Argentina Tax Desk of Ernst & Young LLP in New York.
Carlos has more than 20 years of experience in tax issues and focuses on international tax planning and transfer pricing. He has provided services to clients from several different industries, mainly, capital markets, automotive, pharmaceutical and consumer products.
Since joining the Firm in 1993, Carlos has been primarily involved in providing tax advisory services to multinational companies carrying out business activities in Argentina.
Carlos is a certified public accountant. He is a member of the Argentine Association of Tax Studies and the International Fiscal Association.
He is a professor at the post-graduate schools of Universidad de Buenos Aires and Universidad de San Andres. Carlos has published various articles related to tax matters and lectured at numerous international seminars on tax issues and investments abroad.
