IMMEDIATE NEED—YAGM country coordina- tor for each: Dakar, Senegal; Jerusalem/West Bank; Phnom Penh, Cambodia—Oversee the YAGM program. Fulfill a pastoral and administra- tive role. Facilitate in-country logistics for YAGM volunteers such as visa procedures, finances and stipends, housing, individual placements, arrivals and departures, and evaluations of YAGM volun- teers. Prepare and direct retreats for volunteers. Engage in study of the history and current events pertinent to the region. Administer finances of YAGM program. (Deadline: Aug. 31)
Dakar, Senegal: Proficiency in French required. Language training will be provided as necessary.
Jerusalem/West Bank: Also serves as Holy Land pilgrimage liaison. Communicate directly with U.S.-based groups planning Holy Land study tours. Assist in arranging site visits to refugee camps, villages, peace organizations, etc. Con- tribute content (text and photos) to the Peace Not Walls trip websites. Serve as security contact for ELCA personnel in the region and visiting groups.
