OSHKOSH, WI — EAA AIRVENTURE OSHKOSH 2014 For 51 weeks a year, EAA is an international community of more than 160,000 members that nurtures the spirit of fl ight through a worldwide network of chapters, outreach programs, and other events.But for one week each summer, EAA members and aviation enthusiasts totaling more than 500,000 from more than 60 countries attend EAA AirVenture at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, WI, where they rekindle friendships and celebrate the past, present and future in the world of fl ight. “The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration” has it all when it comes to aircraft. UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — SAFETY MANAGEMENT FOR AVIATION MANAGEMENT The Safety Management for Aviation Management course provides supervisors and management personnel with aviation safety principles and practices needed to manage the problems associated with aircraft maintenance operations. This course discusses the problems associated with individual maintenance, line maintenance operations, business and corporate maintenance operations, repair station operations and industrial operations. Safety Management, data reporting, business cultures, fl ight line safety and ramp operations are discussed. The objective of the course is to familiarize managers with concepts to improve safety and effi ciency. This course is 4.5 days in length and is designed for all maintenance personnel and aviation personnel, including potential supervisors.
