Watershed makes bomber bags. Rapid has published articles from professional pad- dling photographers and filmmakers recom- mending their waterproof products for years. I’ve used mine for precious cargo on count- less canoe trips—I’ve stuffed it with expen- sive camera gear, essential layers of warm clothing, maps, emergency satellite commu- nication devices, mood-saving snacks and lifesaving medications for clients. A firm believer that nothing is 100-per- cent waterproof, I used to Ziploc bag the more precious items mentioned above, just in case, but dropped the habit somewhere along the line without even noticing—it was clear they were an unnecessary redundancy.
