ALGARVE VETERANS SATURDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER


The 4* Alfamar Beach and Sport Resort is located directly on the excellent sandy beach of Praia de Falesia, close to Albufeira and Vilamoura.


We invite teams aged 35+ to compete in the 5th Algarve Veterans festival, held on professional standard grass pitches within the grounds of the hotel. In between games there’s time to relax by the pool or use the many leisure facilities of the hotel.


The Algarve is home to some of the world’s most famous golf courses, where players of all abilities are welcome. The seemingly endless coastline includes some of Europe’s best beaches and watersports facilities.


When the sun goes down, you’ll find the busy resorts of Albufeira and Vilamoura are just a few minutes away.

IN OUR OPINION The Alfamar is in a unique location on the fantastic beach at Falesia, and also within easy reach of the nightlife of Albufeira and Vilamoura. With the football played within the grounds of the hotel, the weekend can be an relaxing or as hectic as you want it to be.

OUTLINE ITINERARY


Friday 20th September Meet and Greet at Faro airport, transfer to Alfamar Beach and Sport Resort. Rest of day and evening at leisure.


Saturday 21st September The ISL Algarve Veterans tournament kicks off at midday. In between games there’s time to relax by the beach or pool. After the tournament there is a trophy presentation followed by ‘happy hour’ at the pool bar.


Sunday 22nd September Free time for relaxation, sunbathing, sightseeing. Optional friendly match or golf.


Monday 23rd September Return flights back to the UK.
