In 1996, Dr. Solomon was the first physician in South Carolina to perform LASIK procedures. Many patients suffering from myopia and astigmatism were finally able to toss their glasses and contact lenses aside. Some doctors would have been satisfied, but Dr. Solomon has continued to push the envelope, ever working on newer and more precise techniques. In addition to cataract and LASIK surgeries, Dr. Solomon treats dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
