Active Shooter Response A Return to the Basics

Active Shooter Response

SUMMARY

Officers have to meet the threats of the times and go home safely at the end of the day. A return to the basics of active shooter response is a lot to think about and train on, but it will help to keep us and those we serve alive. Patrol officers are being trained to engage the threat of an active shooter immediately upon arrival on scene. These are the points to remember.
