will be Angela Simkins. She takes over her responsibilities in January 2014, at which point Danby plans to step down.

“Colin has a wealth of experience in delivering innovative, cost effective packaging line and supply chain solutions, working with multinational companies, independent producers and retailers.” Coules has also served in an

LARAC has appointed Lee Marshall as its new chief executive officer. “Lee will take over from the

current executive officer, Colin Kirkby MBE, who is retiring after helping to shape the organisation to be an effective voice in representing local authorities recycling and waste collection services,” said a LARAC spokesperson.

Marshall said: “Colin is a hard act

markets. The TrakRap system is reported to eliminate the use of heat, as applied in shrink wrap systems, substituting it with seven microns thick C8 LLDPE stretch film - a 100% recyclable polymer film that is lighter and, when combined with TrakRap corrugate tray designs, reportedly uses less cardboard making it suitable for ambient, fresh and frozen products.
