SNAP SHOT Adapt &survive
This month we enjoyed a visit to the Olympus Image Space gallery, read about what we saw and who we met. We discover more about the latest Olympus lens, and take a closer look at the adaptors designed for making the most of your older lenses...
The Olympus OM-D E-M1 proves a worthy body for classic E-System and OM Zuiko glass with the help of the MMF-3 Adaptor
BACK TO THE FUTURE
If you’re an OM lens owner, here’s the adaptor for you – the MF-2 adaptor allows you to connect manual OM lenses with a compatible PEN or OM-D series camera, accessing intriguing optics like mirror lenses or the legendary 90mm f/2 macro lens. Though the lenses have to be manually focused, you can enjoy using features like Art Filters and HF Movie capture. So if you’re a brand new E-M1 owner and know someone with some old-school Olympus lenses, then beg, borrow and plead your way into their collection – who knows what sort of pictures you might end up capturing?
