We debuted a new look for Land&People in the Spring/Summer 2013 issue.


Magazine makeover I was staying at the Harbor Court Hotel—a Kimpton property—and found Land&People magazine in my room. Immediately, my experience of being in a city hotel room was shifted to the world of the outdoors in a way that was so diversified, elegant, and beautifully presented in pictures, de- sign, and words. I am just in love with this magazine—what it deals in but

also how it is done. There is so much focus and integrity and dedication to the subject, and the articles seemed to speak directly to me. Then I looked up The Trust for
