uick! Who is the “King of Swing?” The Professional Bowlers Asso- ciation Tour tried to answer that question in its own unique way when it returned to Milwaukee after a lengthy dry spell in May,
embarking on a fi ve-event, compacted summer tour. For fi ve new cham- pions, it was time to “Sing, Sing, Sing.”
The aptly named PBA Summer Swing
consisted of four “tour stops” and a King of the Swing fi nale, with the fi ve events airing on CBS Sports Network on consecu- tive Tuesday’s from mid-June to early July. Surprisingly, the series of tournaments
produced a quintet of diff erent champi- ons, with an upstart and a snakebit former can’t-miss prodigy sharing titles with a trio of PBA stalwarts. Three of the events featured new
