Lot 1186 A GEORGE III GILTWOOD AND GILT-COMPOSITION SHIELD- SHAPED MIRROR AND WALL CARVINGS c.1780 Comprising a shield- shaped mirror with ram’s mask corners, surmounted by a classical urn hung with drapery above an urn with Vitruvian scroll collar, foliate neck and base on a waisted socle and hairy paw feet, issuing berried foliate branches, re-gilt, sections from a larger mirror composition. 62” (157.5cms) high, overall.
