Lot 1129 A FINE QUALITY MAHOGANY SECRETAIRE CABINET, 18th Century, the upper section with arched top and inlaid with a fan, above a spring loaded button release door and a lower drop front compartment fitted with pigeon holes and drawers fronted in satinwood veneer, flanked to either side with a bow fronted door, enclosing shelves on a cylinder bureau base opening to reveal an arrangement of drawers, secret drawer, small pigeon holes and a cupboard all inlaid on satinwood, above a pull out writing surface and two slide top wells, three long drawers below on square tapering legs, 92” x 50” (233cms x 127cms).
