Casio Electronics Co. Limited and Pursuit Software have announced a partnership that will offer independent jewellers in the UK an end‐to‐end electronic point of sale (EPoS) solution designed to support on the floor sales and enhance the customer experience. This new partnership aims to improve the customer experience by giving assistants easier access to information and powerful applications allowing them to best serve their customers’ needs. Sales assistants will now be able to display the full range of stock on the Casio tablet.

Epson has appointed Ingram Micro Data Capture/POS Division (IM DC/POS) to sell its Point of Sale printers, colour label printers and its TM Intelligent range in the UK. IM DC‐POS, based in Maidenhead, will also sell Epson’s latest range of intelligent printers, Epson TM‐T88V‐i and TM‐T70‐i, which use Epson’s ePOS print technology. This enables users to print out receipts, tickets and coupons at the point of sale, as well as in back office and kitchen environments, directly from tablets and other mobile devices.

The TD‐2000 (TD2 series) is ideally situated in the retail market, providing label printing for pricing, barcode, discount or food labelling. Bridging the gap between desktop and mobile printers, the new Brother TD2 Series prints labels up to 2.2” as fast as 6ips and offers direct thermal printing.
