THE INSTRUCTIONS!

Point your web browser of choice at www.frootsmag.com/reports/fr44j13

NB: Nearly every complaint we have received to date about inability to down- load past fRoots compilations has been caused by readers mis-typing the URL. They are subtly different every time to prevent non-readers from guessing them.

Click the ‘Download’ link and it’ll transfer a Zip file to your computer. When the download is completed, double click that Zip file to unpack it. Inside the resulting folder you’ll find fifteen mp3 files which you can play on your computer or load onto your iPod or other mp3 player. (Note: some Windows systems produce apparently duplicated files. Any with their file names commencing ._ can be safely ignored or deleted.)

You can use use your computer’s disc- burning software like iTunes or Windows Media Player to burn them to a standard audio CD. You’ll also find PDF artwork in the unzipped folder so that you can print a booklet for a slimline jewel case, and label artwork to use where your printer has the facility to print onto the face of CDs.

In the unlikely event you experience diffi- culties, please consult the fRoots Forum http://froots.net/phpBB2 and see the main Letters board where a thread headed ‘The fRoots downloads: technical questions arising’ is there for readers to share tips (the fRoots staff are all Mac users, so best ask there about PC/Windows mysteries).F
