his year, the first ‘Vending Industry Awards’ will be launched by one of the largest independently owned publishers in the UK, Datateam Business Media in partnership with the Automatic Vending Association (AVA), AVEX 13 and Vending International


Magazine. Designed to celebrate the world of Vending, the event will take place on the evening of Wednesday 12th June at the Hilton Metropole, Birmingham. Avex is the largest UK exhibition for vending and water and is attended by visitors from around the world, making it the perfect dateline to host an industry evening and celebrate with the trade who will be attending and exhibiting at the show.


You can nominate a company or an individual for an award in each of the


relevant categories. There is also the opportunity to self-nominate! Is there an operator that you know does a fabulous job? Do you have any


'hero brands' that are a guaranteed hit? How do you separate the best from the rest when there is so much to choose from? Well now is your chance to tell us by highlighting the brands, people, operators and services of the future.

Company Awards With the exception of the University Development Award and Lifetime


Achievement Award, all nominations will be presented to an expert panel who will decide on the top five in each category. The finalist will then be voted on by members of the industry and the winners announced on the night.


Voting will commence in May and will be conducted online with only one vote allowed per category, per IP address.


Individual Awards All nominations will be presented to an expert panel who will decide on


the three finalists. The final three will be invited to an interview prior to the event and the winner announced on the night.
