We interview fine art and landscape photographer, Steve Gosling about the inspiration behind his creative shots

Hello! Please introduce yourself... My name is Steve Gosling and I’m a professional photographer specialising in landscape and fine art photography. My photographs have been published internationally in books, magazines and newspapers and on greetings cards, posters and advertisements. I particularly enjoy writing and teaching about photography and frequently give talks to photographic groups in the UK and abroad. I have run workshops for several years as well as leading masterclasses for Olympus UK, amongst others.


Where do you find inspiration? My key inspiration is the natural world. I love being outdoors in the landscape trying to photograph my emotional response to the sights and events that I witness. I like to photograph things that I have a passionate reaction to – and that can be hate just as much as love. For me, it’s important to have a connection with
