TMA Foundation honors health champions


Former Texas State Demographer Steve Murdock spoke to physicians about demographic changes in Texas and the implications for medicine at the TMA Winter Conference General Session. Dr. Murdock warned that failure to take measures to improve the socioeconomic status of Texas’ minority residents will have dire consequences for the state as its Hispanic population grows.
