The IG London Nocturne is coming to the London Bike Show – don’t miss this fast-paced and competitive spectacle

he London Bike Show has teamed up with the IG London Nocturne to stage the UK’s first-ever indoor criterium race.
A 500m circuit at the ExCel in London will host a mixture of elite and amateur racing between 17th and 20th January 2013. And the usual Nocturne favourites will also feature, such as the Penny Farthing Race, Folding Bike Race and the IG City Challenge.
Meanwhile, the Media Race will see the likes of Colin Murray (BBC) and Ned Boulting (ITV) do battle on the track. The IG London Nocturne has been staged at Smithfield Market every year since 2007 and will return to its iconic central London home on 8th June 2013. Devised by event organisers FACE
Partnership, Nocturne races have also been staged in Edinburgh, Manchester and Blackpool.
In June last year more than 12,000 spectators witnessed a thrilling night of racing at Smithfield as Team Sky’s Ian Stannard won the Saint-Gobain Men’s Elite Criterium.
