HELLO & WELCOME
In the depths of January there is nothing better than making plans for the year ahead, and here at the 2013 Outdoors Show, Active Travel Show and The London Bike Show we have more ideas, events, activities and adventures under one roof to inspire you and your family than ever before.
Whether your plans involve taking up a new sport, visiting an oft dreamt of country, or making a small but significant change to your daily life, such as getting on your bike more often, we can help. Highlights across the shows include our celebration of 60 years since the summit of Everest was reached, a carefully curated and family friendly collection of speakers, including Helen Skelton, Charley Boorman and Jody Cundy, and the first indoor edition of the IG London Nocturne bike race, and it’s all aimed to inspire you for the year ahead. If it’s adrenalin you seek, take some time to have a go at slacklining,
bouldering, or putting the latest bikes through their paces on the
RoadCyclingUK test track. Or taste the world at the Virgin Wines and Beer Boutique wine and beer tasting, celebrate all that is good about the great outdoors at the Wild Britain stage and the Outdoor Photography Photobox.. The thing I love about these three shows is that they cover so many different activities and aspects of life, and I defy anyone to not find something that appeals to them within our walls! Read on to find out what’s on offer from 17 to 20 January at ExCel London, and I hope you leave as inspired for the year ahead as the team and I have been putting it all together.
Enjoy the show
