Learning with the NUT
Is one of your New Year’s resolutions to develop your skills or be more involved in the NUT? If so, the NUT offers a range of national training and continuing professional development (CPD) courses. Many are free, or subsidised by the NUT. Visit our updated training course web page at the NUT website,

Courses are split into two areas:
• national training makes you a more effective member or rep of the NUT
• CPD makes you a more effective teacher.

Landing that first post
The NUT guide First Post gives lots of information and guidance to help you get your first job. It includes tips on filling in an application, interviews and trial lessons.

A new home – with no deposit!
