Sibos October 29th – November 1st


The theme of this year’s CIO Forum Japan was “What is the world`s most advanced global IT?” The Forum, hosted by CIO magazine and organized by the world’s leading technology event company, IDG, focused on how to succeed amidst fierce global competition. AT&T participated as a special sponsor together with co-sponsor Cisco.


This year’s event, held at the Aoyama Diamond Hall in Tokyo, attracted 65 delegates including representatives from Toshiba Solutions, Fujitsu, Mitsui Chemicals, and JAL.


Speakers included Manabu Oka, president and CEO of AT&T Japan LLC, Waimin Higa, director of the Internet Business Solutions Group of Cisco Systems G.K., and key speaker Ichiro Terajima, group manager of the information system group of Sekisui Chemical Company. The sessions were followed by a cocktail hour and demonstration booths by AT&T Japan and Cisco.


AT&T was proud to be an exhibitor at Sibos 2012, considered to be the world’s premier financial services event.


Held this year in Osaka, Japan, the event attracted over 6,000 delegates and brought together influential leaders from financial institutions, market infrastructures, multinational corporations and technology partners to shape the future of the financial industry.


Sibos is a unique forum in which to collaborate and take collective action in payments, securities, cash management and trade. AT&T showcased its global portfolio of solutions for financial services, with a particular focus on Unified Communications, hosting, security and mobility solutions.
