he North American Mission Board is celebrating 2013 as the year of the Bible. NAMB is inviting
churches to join the celebration by participating in the Find It Here New Testament distribution project as a part of GPS: God’s Plan for Sharing, the evangelism initiative designed to equip and encourage Southern Baptists in fulfilling the Great Commission in North America by the year 2020. A complimentary case of Find It Here New Testa- ments will be sent to all SBC churches in early 2013. Churches are encouraged to use the New Testaments in evangelistic efforts in their respective communities. To learn more about this initiative, visit

Drop In Donations T
he troubled economy continues to have an affect on the way people donate their money.
According to a report by the Barna Group, 41% of all American adults have reduced their donations to non-profit organizations while 34% have done the same with their giving to churches and religious centers. A total of 11% have stopped giving to churches and other organizations completely after being hit by the downward economy.
