the Awards has been a rewarding and, of course, enjoyable experience. However we also hope it highlights three key things about our approach to the exciting industry we all work in. First, supporting such a highly regarded event illustrates our commitment to the overseas prop- erty industry as a whole. Like all the winning companies that feature on the following pages, our future is dependent on the industry’s ongoing success and we want to be involved in achieving that success as much as we can. Another right move by rightmoveoverseas After a four year absence it was great to see the return of the Gala Dinner for the presentation of the OPP awards. As proud sponsors of the event we were eagerly awaiting the opportunity to share the evening with over 300 industry col- leagues. The night was well organised with all the glitz you’d expect from a top award ceremo- ny. Great food, wine, speeches, music and even a charity auction thrown in for good measure all added to the occasion. It was a pleasure to work alongside OPP as well as our fellow sponsors and FX partners Smart Currency leading up to the event. All three companies wanted to make sure the night was a celebration of the achievements made by all attending companies after the gruelling efforts of the past four years. During his speech, John Howell raised the point that there have been many obstacles faced by the industry in recent years and it is commendable that there are so many of us who have come through the hard times, often having to adapt to survive, and to be in the position where we can look forward with positivity. That positivity could clearly be seen at the event itself, as professionals shared and exchanged success stories during a fantastic evening of networking. We would like to send our congratulations to all the winners of the awards and our thanks to everyone who attended on the night itself helping make it such a great evening.
