WE ARE PLANNING SOME VERY MEMORABLE EVENTS TO CELEBRATE 105 YEARS OF HARLEY-DAVIDSON® MOTORCYCLES in conjunction with the Harley-Davidson®
POLICE 110th
Anniversary activities during Labor Day weekend, 2013. Currently in the development stages, the main event will be a Law Enforce- ment Training Competition (Rodeo) to benefit the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). We also plan to conduct other law enforcement seminars, drill team exhibitions, product demonstrations and vendor displays. There will be a registration fee required to participate in the training and seminars. Our events will begin with arrival day on Tuesday, August 27 and conclude Saturday, August 31. To assist you
in planning your trip to Milwaukee, more details will be released on the Harley-Davidson Police Sales website later this year and also in the Spring issue of The Motor OfficerTM
magazine. Training and seminars are expected to
be held on Wednesday and Thursday, August 28 & 29 with the riding skills training competition held on Friday and Saturday, August 30 & 31. In the meantime, please mark your calendar for those dates! Updated information about the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary activities will soon be found by visiting
www.harley-davidson.com. For the 110th Anniversary Celebration, Harley-Davidson is announcing a year-long series of fan-driven experiences around the world—from events to rides to promotions—and invites participa- tion in the celebration in whatever ways are relevant to each individual. Besides our Law Enforcement Training Competition, the week in Milwaukee August 29–September 1, 2013 will feature rides coming home to Milwaukee organized by Harley-Davidson®
Dealers, H.O.G. Chapters and
riders. There will be a special H.O.G. 30th Anniversary event allowing members from around the world to celebrate together. As in past Anniversary celebrations, a gigantic parade through the City of Milwaukee will be held. The Harley-Davidson Museum will host many activities and there will be three days and nights of awesome concerts on the Summerfest grounds! 2013 will be a year unlike any other, with a global celebration of the freedom that unites all Harley-Davidson riders.
