The ultimate sprocket for all types of chain saw users.
The Power Mate® Rim Sprocket System is the most effective way to drive saw chain on most chain saws.
• The Power Mate® Rim Sprocket System includes a clutch cup with spline and a replaceable rim sprocket
• The rim floats freely on the spline, maximizing the saw chain–bar groove alignment.
• The rim is designed to be replaced, maximizing operational life and reducing overall operating costs.
Note: All rim sprockets have two sets of teeth.
A rim is installed on the clutch cup by sliding onto the cup’s toothed spline. OREGON® splines come in two sizes, ”Small 7" and “Standard 7.” The teeth on the spline and the teeth on the inner diameter of the rim work as a team to prevent the rim from spinning on the spline. Spline teeth should not be confused with the slotted chain-driving teeth on the outside of the sprocket. When referring to the sprocket application tables, the heading ”Teeth“ refers to the chain-driving teeth, while ”Spline“ refers to the spline size and number of teeth found on the spline.

The benefits of a replaceable rim in the Power Mate® sprocket system
Power Mate® Rims are preferred by most professional chain saw users
• The rim “floats“ on the spline and allows the saw chain and rim to align with the groove of the guide bar.
• Three of the most popular sizes are available in a radially ported design, which uses centrifugal force to throw off sawdust and debris.
• Popular rims are available with wear-depth indicators, which make it easy to tell when the sprocket should be replaced.
