Dear Colleague;
The Vermont Bar Foundation is 30 this year and YOU made it possible! Let’s celebrate! Annually your IOLTA money and a portion of your licensing fee are distributed by the Vermont Bar Foundation to provide legal representation for Vermonters who otherwise cannot afford it. We invite you to celebrate this milestone anniversary and the work of the Foundation by donating to the Foundation’s $30 for 30 campaign, participating in the VBA’s Celebrate Pro Bono Conference, and exploring ways you can support the work of the Foundation.
$30 for 30 Campaign: Please help celebrate the Foundation’s 30 years of accomplishments by making a $30 tax-deductible contribution to further the work of the Foundation. We encourage you to make the donation in honor of someone or some work that reflects the mission of the Foundation. The Foundation is looking at an approximate $100,000 decrease in IOLTA funding this year compared to last, due to interest rates being at record lows and fewer real estate transactions. Please help us celebrate 30 years of funding legal service by sending your $30 donation in the enclosed envelope.
Celebrate Pro Bono Conference: Join others committed to access to justice by attending this conference on October 25, 2012 at the State House. This all-day Conference will feature speakers, workshops, and FREE CLE credits. Registration and further information will be available soon on the VBA’s website:
www.vtbar.org.
Contribute to the Work of the Foundation: The Foundation welcomes attorneys and friends that support the mission of the Foundation. The Foundation seeks members for its committees and encourages you to bring your time and talents to this important work. To contact us and learn more about the Foundation’s committees and work visit the Foundation’s website:
www.vtbarfoundation.org.
Thank you for your steadfast support and for helping celebrate the Vermont Bar Foundation’s 30th Anniversary. Again, let’s celebrate this milestone!
Sincerely,
Beth Danon, President Vermont Bar Foundation
