Die Steel


Te NBB line of core machines provide a simple yet flexible method of producing no-bake cores using the same resin system as with your no-bake molds. Te dedicated mixer can provide different resin/catalyst settings with the touch of a button and the swivel mount can provide sand for bench coremaking. Perfect for improving your core production and quality at a lower cost than traditional cold-box production but can easily be upgraded to provide gassing & purging cycles for gas-cured core production.

Toolox 44 is a new pre-hardened die steel designed to have high impact resistance and low residual stresses and therefore good dimensional stability. Despite a hardness of 45 HRC, this new steel is easily machined and particularly suited for Die Casting, Permanent Mold and Core Box applications. Guaranteed minimum v-notch charpy of 14 ft. lbs. (a typical reading is 22 ft. lbs.) Excellent thermal conductivity and heat check resistance.
