Clean-up act

LM Golf Australia Pty Ltd has released the Club Whizz, a new cleaning aid for clubs, shoes and trolley wheels

C

reated in Australia but now available worldwide is the Club Whizz cleaning aid, created so that golfers “no longer take the golf course home”. Club Whizz is a circular nylon brush that attaches to the

wheel of a trolley, or simply to a golf bag, with a view to making clubhead, wheel and shoe cleaning quicker, easier and more eff ective than with the traditional golf towel. Club Whizz has been invented by Australian duo Phillip Laing and Rob Monzou, and designed in collaboration with industrial design specialists Form Designs. “Golfers have had to accept the hassle of knocking their clubs

against their trolley wheels and the soles of their shoes to get rid of dirt,” starts Monzou. “Not to mention that we have to carry around a dirty golf towel. It wouldn’t be so bad if the dirt just fell off the towel, but that never happens and we end up taking half the course home with us! Constantly carting wet dirt around the car and house is as much a chore as cleaning the clubs, and we thought there had to be a better way.” The Club Whizz features 240

bristle heads, and clips to trolley wheels so that golfers can clean their clubheads while they walk to their next shot. The brush also detaches from its base so it can be used as a hand-held brush to clean the soles of golf shoes and trolley wheels.
