No Burn-In
Most security monitors show the same scene for long periods of time with little change. Lesser-quality monitors can result in "burn-in": the ghosting of an image on a screen when lights begin to burn out. Security-grade LCDs correct for this problem with longer-lasting lights that won't burn out unevenly.
