Rowan is very proud to support Oscar Quiroz with his new Spring Summer 2013 fashion collection – A Terribly Caribbean Affair, featuring some of our very own beautiful yarns. Concentrating on pure cottons, the collection is inspired by colour and symmetrical floral patterns, and is also influenced by the a-line shape, more typically used in womens designs. Kaffe Fassett


We’re excited to tell you about an upcoming series of events planned in with colour’s most famous advocate, Kaffe Fassett. On the 16th August at the Festival of Quilts show in Birmingham, Kaffe will begin his busy itinerary by holding book signings and by hosting a talk during the evening. Then, on the 4th and 5th September, Kaffe will visit Rowan fabric stockist Lady Sew and Sew for a workshop, followed by a book signing and reading at Liberty on the 26th, and at John Lewis Oxford Street on November 15th. Kaffe will then travel up to Edinburgh to meet fans, and then to Wyboston for the exciting Stitchtopia event – see page 13 for full details!
