What is Fundidora Park? Located in the heart of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Fundidora Park is the first public urban sustainable park in the north of the Mexican Republic. Recognized as a Museum of Indus- trial Archeology in 2011, Fundidora Park is

a living testimony of the history of Monter- rey — a cultural heritage of the state in which nature, tradition, and culture coexist to bring joy to the community. Located inside the for- mer Monterrey Foundry property, visitors can now appreciate the 27 remaining indus- trial pieces, which include two blast furnaces, buildings, chimneys, and 127 smaller pieces that are distributed along the gardens and pathways of the park.
