President Carleton Varney is designing the interior of the refurbished steam-powered train, which will feature all of the signature style, service, and luxury of its namesake resort. The prohibitive price factor is also becoming history at
The Greenbrier.A new era, combined with the sluggish economy, required a newbusiness approach to increase occupancy. Although The Greenbrier is still the rate leader among luxury resorts, it’s generally only $25 or $50 per night higher than most of its competitors. atAmerica’s Resort, including renovated guest rooms with modern amenities, designer décor, and upgraded electron- ics. The Greenbrier remains a magnificent place for showing clients and teams that they are appreciated—only now with alot less pretentiousness.
